Termination of Exam 70-461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014

Hello: I am planning to take the 70-461 exam and realize that this exam is on the verge of getting retired. Can you please help me know if the certification is valued and what happens if i need to take a retest can i still take it if it falls after the retirement time?

Just clearing Exam 70-461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 will earn you a badge, inorder to get a certification you need to clear all the three exams :

Exam 70-461: Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014

Exam 70-462: Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 Databases

Exam 70-463: Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014

 This certification retires on January 31, 2021. You will no longer be able to earn this certification after this date. Any certifications you earn prior to their retirement dates will continue to appear on your transcript in the Certification Dashboard.
