"Too Many Requests" error.

Hey, I've been trying to log into my microsoft account for both minecraft (and afterwards, my recent activity page, these are the primary sites giving me problems) and I have not been able to log in, repeatedly getting a blank web page with the words "Too Many Requests" in the top left corner. I understand that this is a feature to limit attempts at password cracking, however this happened on my first attempt to sign in, even though according to the website I am already signed in. I have no idea what's going on.
