Unable to Register Certification Profile (Claim your free Microsoft Certification exam from Microsoft Ignite)

Upon completing the Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skill Challenge, I did receive eligibility to claim free Microsoft Exam Certification.

When I tried to register for the Certification Profile, I am unable to save and continue and am receiving this error '90010001: Invalid name, address or phone number'.     I have checked all my relevant details and they are correct.

Please help, as I am unable to proceed with Certification Registration.

Thanks.

Answer

Hello rafiq7272,

When updating your certification profile, please try using InPrivate browser with the new Edge version or Google Chrome  InCognito mode.

Should the issue persist, clear cache, cookies and allow all third-party cookies (steps here) Make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files then click Delete.

Please make sure all the necessary fields with asterisk (*) are properly filled out.

Furthermore, kindly make sure to remove the occurrence of any non-English letters and replace them with Roman alphabets on your profile (e.g. name, address). Signs and symbols should also be removed from your profile as another workaround for these cases (please remove any Special Characters (like., \ ! @ # - etc.).

If the above-mentioned steps did not work, please send us a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) which includes all troubleshooting steps made from the moment you login to your account until you receive the error message.

Kindly send the requested recording, along with our request for account information, through the private message I have initiated. Please click here or refer to the image below on how to access the message:
