Hi Team,

I have conacted with OnVUE Supports, they told me that I have two accounts (*** and ***) which registered with same email address: **** and told me to contact with Microsoft to merge the two accounts. Please help to merge the two accounts to , so that I can find the exam appointment by login with *** and take the exam normally, thanks!

Hello 生 陈1,

Thank you for your communication with Microsoft's community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand you need help merging your Learn profiles to get access to your exam appointment. We will be glad to clarify the corresponding steps to sort this situation out!

Please be aware, with the changes implemented to our site on July 8th (links below), our internal security policies were updated, and our Support Team is no longer able to confirm any personal information to our customers from their Learn Profiles. This means that previous services related to Certification Profiles (merging, migrations, legal name change, etc.) are now self-assisted by users.

From this, we can confirm, it will be possible to merge your Learn profiles. Since the account is already linked to another Microsoft Learn profile, you'll be prompted to merge the two accounts together. If you're interested in having the two Microsoft accounts on the same profile, follow the merge prompts.

To link another Microsoft account to your Learn profile:

  1.  Select the profile icon in the top, right corner

  2. Select Settings

  3. Under Account Management, select Add account

  4. Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to link

By design, your Learn profile can only be associated with one personal Microsoft account (MSA) and up to five work or school accounts (AAD) at a time.

In case both accounts are linked to personal emails, it will be possible to merge your accounts. However, by system design, two Learn profiles under personal accounts cannot merge directly. To accomplish this, there is a workaround where a third Learn Profile under school/work account is required.

  • Log into your school/work account (Profile B) and add the personal profile (Profile A) from which you want to transfer your information (Profile A). This migrates your certification and training progress from A to B. Wait until the confirmation green banner is displayed.

  • Now, remove your previous personal profile you just added (Profile A) (Settings > Account Management > Linked accounts > Remove). This separates the accounts, but the contents transfer remains intact.

  • Log into your main, preferred Learn Profile (Profile C) and add Profile B. This transfers your certification and training progress from the work Learn Profile to your preferred Learn Profile.

  • (Optional) If you wish, you can you remove your school/work account profile.

The school/work Learn Profile works as a 'bridge' that allows you to transfer certification/training progress from a personal account Learn Profile to another personal profile.

NOTE: If you do not have an active school/work account Learn Profile available, the transfer of your information cannot be completed, and you will require either to continue using the profile with your certification for future exams or use your preferred profile for new certifications and manage all your progress using two profiles. There are no other workarounds available for this.
