Verification code delays!

Hello Microsoft,


I've been trying to verify my corporate account, as we have 100% discount, but the verification code email seems to be delayed constantly.

It keeps informing me that the 'Invalid Verification'

Based on the error you are getting, please try to wait for a couple of hours then try to redeem your discount again.

You can also try the following recommendations below:

  • Check your Spam/Junk folders

  • Use the new MS Edge browser that you can download here.

  • Make sure to clear cache and cookies.

  • Open your browser in InPrivate mode.

If the same issue persists, please provide us with a step-by-step screenshot of the incident in a form of PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) starting from the sign in page until you reach the error along with the requested information in the private message I have initiated.

Hello Kris,

I think the problem persists.

there are 2 problems

1. the verification code can come in ranging from 14 minutes to 30+ minutes

2. when i typed in the code, it says 'verification failed'

Is there anyway that a code can be sent to my email directly?

Our firm have free (100% coverage) Azure Fundamentals for all of the technology staff. My teammates were able to verify quite easily.

Also found out from my coworkers, they didnt need to request for the verification...

Thank you for your letting me know that the issue persists.

Please be advised that the verification code is only valid for 15 minutes starting from the time that you clicked the 'Check Eligibility' button.

Once received, it is also recommended to manually enter the code.

With this please try again and make sure to type the code after receiving it. If the same error occurs, please provide us with a step-by-step screenshot of the incident in a form of PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) starting from the sign in page until you reach the error in the private message 

Regarding your co-workers that didn't undergone the verification process, it is possible that they have setup their work account as their registered (Contact) email in their Certification profile and the system has recognize the account.
