I was on schedule to take the online, proctored AZ-104 with Pearson Vue and after the verification process the exam didn't start due to some technical issue. Completed the help form as per the message. After 5 hours I got an email from Pearson stating that the exam has been cancelled stating that, "This e-mail contains important information about the exam you cancelled". I didn't cancel any exam but the email said the exam has been cancelled by me. As it was on a Sunday, the only contact option was chat and I managed to create a case number with Pearson.
I called Pearson customer support numerous times the following week and every time they had only one answer, "you have to contact Microsoft, we have returned the discount voucher to Microsoft. You need to go through the same process how you scheduled the exam initially."
I tried to re-schedule the exam from my Certification dashboard and no discounts appear on the exam discounts page. Please re-instate the discount coupon or guide me to re-schedule the exam without paying.
