1. Did Person XY has to refresh the certificate in **removed** with an exam or did Person XY automatically receive the certificate **removed** because the others (**removed**) were retired? Because I can not find an exam that was taken on the **removed**

2. What exactly is the meaning of Legacy / Legacy with Power Platform?

3. Will they be relevant in the future at some point?

Looking forward to your answer :)

Hello Val,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft's Community.

As we understand, you want to know the meaning of word Legacy on your Certifications.

Microsoft Certification (Legacy) is a term used to refer to retired certifications that are no longer available for new candidates. Legacy certifications are still valid and can be used to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in the relevant technology area. However, they are not recommended for new candidates as they are no longer updated and may not be relevant to current technology trends. Keeping in mind that retired certifications are no longer valid and cannot be used to demonstrate your skills and knowledge.
