when will Microsoft release replacement exam for retired exam MB-340: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant

Referred to Exam and assessment lab retirement | Microsoft Learn Customer Insight  is not the same as Commerce. Commerce relate to Retail and POS(Point Of Sale) (see below screenshot):

There is no planned replacement for MB-340

MB-220 Customer Insights (Journeys) will be retiring in November and has nothing to do with Commerce

Currently, we haven't been noticed about the replacement of the MB-340, Microsoft has not indicated replacement in the articles of Exam MB-340 and its certification for Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate.

We can only recommend any of the certifications and their required exams below that may serve as possible alternatives:

Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (passing MB-300 and MB-310)

Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (passing MB-300 and MB-330)

Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate (passing MB-300 and MB-500)

Enya had posted this query on my behalf; I am from one of the partner companies for MS.

You had mentioned there is no replacement for retail exam MB340, does this mean is MS planning to indefinitely not provide replacement exam for Dynamics 365 AX Retail/Commerce modules?

There are no plans for a replacement for MB-340.

Microsoft constantly reviews its skilling and credentials portfolio but there are no definite, or indeed indefinite, plans for future certification exams.

We haven't received any information; Microsoft is constantly updating its courses and certifications; you can review them here:
