Why my certificate shows as "Retired" with Active status

Hi,

I renewed my certificate "Power Platform App Maker Associate" on *Removed*, and passwd the test.

Can you please check why the certificate status shows as "Retired"? But the content in View certificate details displays as "Expires on: *Removed*"

Thanks,

Answer

Hello LintaoShen!

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft's Community.

As we understand, your Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate Certification is being shown as retired. We are happy to help.

We would like to inform you that this certification was retired on June 30, 2024. You had a six-month window after the retirement date to renew it. Since you successfully renewed the certification within that period, its validity has been extended for an additional year.

However, please note that you will not be able to renew it again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

If you're looking for an equivalent certification, you might consider the "Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate" certification. This certification is suitable for traditional developers who customize Microsoft Power Platform apps and are driven by solving problems and creating automated solutions.

We hope this is useful to you, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to keep in contact with us.

If no additional assistance is required, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.
