wrong timezone showing on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/myuseraccount/certifications

I booked a online exam with Pearson VUE, but when I checked it on Microsoft Learn website ( the url is https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/users/ ) , I noticed it's showing up as " (UTC +05:00)". I booked it at EST time, which should be UTC-5. Just double checked on Pearson VUE, the timezone is "America/New_York - EST" . Is this a bug in the integration between Microsoft Learn and Pearson VUE? It could cause confusing.

Allow me to provide you with information about the time zone difference for your scheduled exam.

 

When you check your Certifications dashboard, your exam appointment time is expressed in UTC. On the other hand, Testing Center exam times are expressed in the local time of the Testing Center. Also, appointment times on your confirmation email are expressed in local time, regardless of how they are delivered. Please visit this sticky post to learn more.

 

In the event that you have missed your exam due to time confusion, please reach out to Pearson Vue's support page (select your region) to assist you with rescheduling your appointment.

 

In case you need help with Microsoft Certification profile access/benefits and exam registration in the future, you can always post a new question so our team can give immediate assistance.
