i was so motivated to give applied skill exams i prepared for them fully i planned to give azure ai exam yesterday and azure files and blob exam today i just wanna say my experience with these exams demotivated me so much that i feel like crying please see the below screen to know how terrible user experience was and how frustrated i must have been i could not see a single thing and i had to cancel my exam i feel so upset
look at how i have to scroll mini bar down to see the next pixel i could not see anything at all i even clicked the display button on top left and selected full screen and fit to window i even tried to pull with anchor to see if screen would resize i feel so upset about myself i was so determined and now i feel like a failure

For this type of scenario, we suggest retaking the assessment once the 72-hour retake period ends and if you consider to, it is a good idea to switch to a different device, as the other device may have some restrictions that may cause some issues while taking your assessment. please make sure that you review the Assessment Lab System Readiness requirements, and take advantage of the Speed Test and Lab Orientation and Connectivity Check tools available on our FAQ page.
Furthermore, due to lab restrictions, you may notice that your lab does not occupy the entire screen. This is because our assessment labs can only hide your menu tabs when you choose the full screen option. You can learn more about this feature and how it affects your lab experience on our Assessment lab duration and lab experience page.

Thank you for your response and im glad you understand the frustration from my point of view. The device itself is not an issue like I stated before I gave 2 exams azure ai and azure files & blobs the azure ai was done on m1 Mac which had the same narrow screen and when I pressed the full screen button I got a token error and telling me reopen lab so I refreshed and I was unable to take exam for 72 hours which is why this time I tried to take on windows computer. I feel like these issues take away the whole determination and ambition of a student like it did with mine
The FAQ page you linked only has 1 speed test which my system passed. The display option FAQ suggested I already mentioned that I did used it. There is nothing else there to fix my issue so taking the exam after 72 hour would put me in the same spot as now. idk if it helps but the footer is humangous if there was an option to minimise it and let screen expand I think it would work. Also I was thinking if I used dev tools and removed footer would that work?
please help me out I feel like my time that should have been spent giving exam and learning is being spent on inconvinence things

I have had 2 similar experiences with the construct of the lab environment. I have also had a completed assessment error out after hitting submit. I have had a lab reset and tell me I have to wait another 72 hours after refreshing my screen trying to get the lab window larger. The overall experience has been pretty poor. 1 lab I absolutely know I passed, the storage one, said I failed with a score of 14%, which is impossible. These skills challenge labs feel very very beta.

I had the same frustrations with the Power Apps skills assessment that I just took. I was literally crying tears in the beginning because I couldn't see the screen. I have a huge monitor with high resolution. It's not the monitor that is the issue. It's the frames in the website. I did not expect the lab assessment to open *inside* the Learn webpage. It was a huge disappointment, after studying for so long and having test anxiety related to the actual assessment. The browser screen should have been the least of our worries.

Hello the above requested details would not help as the issue is not within the lab but the view of the lab. I came up with my own solution (and can also give minimal effort idea on how to fix it as applied skills are becoming more and more popular im sure this very same issue will keep arising) and it worked just like I wanted. As a test I gave a power automate exam and was able to do all of it and passed with score of 92 so the solution works very good. I want to run the solution by you before I post it on here and wanted to talk about another thing is it possible I could write you privately or in a private thread instead of here? thanks

Hi thank you for your response. "blank area of the browser window, hold down Ctrl key and use your mouse scroll wheel to adjust the zoom of your assessment lab for better experience. " this assumes that every exam taker has a mouse with scroll wheel /computer but for example me on m1 MacBook Air tried to press command and even control button and tried to do it and instead of zooming out the content I either zoom out the whole current browser taking me to all my browser or it zooms in (not the content but the view). Also the zooming in/out of content is not a solution its part of my solution but not the whole solution. I private messaged @GerardM_B6 and gave him a minimal effort solution along with screenshot and video of the problem and how my solution solves the problem I am waiting on his response once I get a go ahead ill post it here and close the forum thanks
