Microsoft Exam Voucher

I attended the Virtual Training Day on 25 August - 26 August 2020. I am not able to get the free exam voucher.

Hello MoGarg,

If you have attended all the modules in this virtual training, you will receive an email within 5 business days with the exam voucher and instructions on how to sit the exam online. You may check the Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals FAQ page for more details.

Note: Exam discounts for Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day events are now “Voucherless”.

If you are still unable to get your discount, please follow the steps below:

1.       If you are using a work machine, please try to use different device or personal computer to make sure that there’s no restriction.

2.       Use the new MS Edge browser that you can download here.

3.       Make sure to clear all your cache and cookies (steps here) and disable the Block all third party cookies function from the browser settings. 

4.       Once done, please press F12 function key 

5.       Once you see a Developer Tool window popping up on the screen, click on "Network Tab" and clear the session.

6.       Refresh the screen.

7.       Once done, select one of the any eligible exams and click the "Schedule exam" button to begin the online registration process.

8.       Sign-in with MSA (personal Microsoft Account). Create or update certification profile as required. Please make sure that all the required fields marked with an asterisk* are correctly filled (Please remove any Special Characters (like \! @ # etc.,) from your Name and Address) before clicking "Save & continue" button at the bottom of the Certification Profile page.

9.       On Exam Discounts page, enter email used to register for the event (if different than the Cert MSA email) and select Check Eligibility.

Note:  If the email used to register for the event is the same as the MSA (Microsoft Account) email used for certification, there is no need to verify and link – discount should automatically appear to be claimed.

10.   If you are eligible for an exam discount, you will receive a verification code to the email address you entered. Subject line of email: Verify your account ownership and will be from

11.   Enter verification code from email to verify eligibility. Verification code is valid for 15 minutes only.  If necessary, you can resend verification code from Exam Discounts page.

12.   After entering the passcode, you will be asked to link your accounts. You MUST agree to link your accounts to receive a discount.

13.   Claim appropriate discount and schedule exam. Follow steps on the subsequent screens and provide the required details to schedule your exam. During the checkout process, verify the total amount due is $0.00 and submit the order.

If still you are unable to see the discount, please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) showing all the steps above until it shows the page that the discount did not apply and attach it via private message (See image below) along with your profile details for further investigation. If you can also include the email confirmation for your voucher.
