About my MCID

Good day,

Please help with regards on my problem in activating my MCID. I am using the same account(the same email) in my Acclaim, Microsoft and MCP together with my Certiport. When I pass the exam customer service of Certiport and Microsoft Certification Program Team congratulate me for passing the MOS exam and give me that particular MCID and Temp Passwrd. When I use, the MCID may be 5 days ago right after I passed the exam it is error, i cant proceed to it. It displays contact you Regional Service Center. My problem here is I have another MCID for my account which is not link to my Acclaim, and Certiport. I dont know why/ where i get this MCID, that's why I can't apply for my MCTP because I dont have any progress or passed exam reflect on my transcript and badges because of that MCID not link on my account.

Please help me with my problem, to be activated my MCID which was given to me by MCPTeam and link all my account so that all my progress reflect on it and i can proceed my application. And delete the present one which is a not my MCID.

I am hoping for a positive feedback with this matter.

Thank you so much.

Answer

Hi Nelg,

Thank you for providing the needed information.

I found your profiles and can confirm a duplicate account was created because your first profile is not yet migrated.

To merge the two accounts, both profiles should be linked to a Microsoft Account. As such, you need to associate the Preferred MCID to a different email address.

1. Please open an Internet Explorer and visit the Microsoft Certification Member Site.

2. Sign in with the different Microsoft account and password that you would like to associate with the profile.

(Note: If you receive an error "That Microsoft account doesn't exist.” just choose "Create one!")

3. Enter the Access Code along with the MC ID (please see private message)

Once the account has been migrated, we can proceed in consolidating your two MCIDs and associate your preferred email address.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.

All the best,
