Access Denied - Microsoft Certified Trainers should login with Microsoft Certification Account.

Hi all,

I have registered for MCT, got my logins through, etc and I can access everything EXCEPT the learning download center.

When I try to access it through the MCT Portal I get the following:

Access Denied
Microsoft Certified Trainers should login with Microsoft Certification Account.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Answer

Hello Chris,

I hope you are doing well.

We received an update from our Support team and was advised that there are two login email addresses associated with your MCT profile and this could be the reason of the error in accessing the Learning Download Center.

That being said, please re-link your account by following the steps below:

  1. Try using your browser in InPrivate/Incognito (no other tabs open)

  2. Should the issue persist clear cache and cookies (steps here) Make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data ‘and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.

  3. Go to Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account and password that you would like to associate with your profile.

  5. If you were routed to the Dashboard or Internal error page, please copy and paste this link on the address bar and it should automatically ask for MCID and Access Code.

  6. Enter the Access Code along with the MC ID provided through private message.

Once done, please try to access the Learning Download Center.

In the event that you are still getting the same error, please attach a new PSR via private message.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. If your inquiry was not fully resolved, please post a new question.
