Azure vouchers and subscriptions

I am relatively new to Azure.  I recently started teaching it.  I acquired a $200 free pass and used it until it expired.  I need to teach a class soon so I acquired an MCT voucher.  However, I cannot seem to redeem it.  When I logon to the Azure portal, there is no option to redeem it.  A fellow MCT suggested that I may have to create a new email address in order to have an new identity with Azure so that I can redeem the voucher.  I do not think that this could possibly be the correct procedure, but, I have been unable to redeem the voucher.  I have been told by Azure support to upgrade to Pay as I go, but I have a voucher to use to teach the class.  So what is the correct procedure.

To ensure that you can redeem your Azure voucher through the Azure portal, your MCT subscription should be currently active.

You may log-in to the Azure Pass portal using your Microsoft account, then providing all the details needed.

If you're still getting issues in redeeming your Azure pass, please provide us more information from the private message we have initiated so that we can further investigate the issue.
