Invoicing to company instead of private person

Hello,

I'm registered on my personal account for taking the certification exams (also for my MCT).

In the past I registered for instructor led courses, which also included a voucher. Here I was able to get it invoiced to my company.

Now, I plan to take some exams aside from instructor led courses. So, no exam vouchers at hand.

How can I register for an exam so that the invoice is billed to my company (I'm an independent contractor)?

If I need to order exam vouchers through my company, how can I set up an account for my company and how can I then order exam vouchers?

Can I then also use it for the billing of my MCT (renewal)?

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely yours,

Geert

Answer

Hello Geert,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I understand that you would like to know if you can use your company email rather than your Microsoft account.

Let me to provide you with information about using your corporate account.

Please be advised that you can change your registered (contact) email in your Certification profile. This is where all the notifications and updates are being sent regarding your MCP/MCT profile including exam registration/confirmation.

Thus, since you mentioned that you are an MCT, we recommend to keep your Personal account as this is connected to your MCT Benefits.

As for your question about billing your company for your exam registration, you can either use your company issued credit card or request for a reimbursement.

Although, if you intend to purchase exam vouchers, you may refer to this page for the steps on how to order.

You may also contact the Pearson VUE Voucher Store Support for assistance with the billing.

I hope this helps.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. If your inquiry was not fully resolved, please post a new question.
