MCT Badge: Where to find my 2025 MCT badge

I received the email stating that I don’t need to renew however, when I go into Credly, I don’t see my new badge. Please advise.

I am aware of the importance of your MCT badge for 2025 and its role in your responsibilities. I'll ensure you receive relevant updates on this matter.

Julian is correct. Please be advised that Microsoft Learn announced plans to migrate verifiable credential badging to the Microsoft Learn profile and retire its partnership with Credly. As of January 1, 2024, the new MCT badge is now available in the MCT Lounge | Program Badge. You can find both small and large versions of the MCT Program Badge in PNG format, ready for download at the link provided above.

 

Feel free to use this revamped MCT Program Badge on your social media profiles, websites, marketing materials, business promotional products, training decks, and any other platforms where MCTs showcase your certified trainer status.

While if you wish to share your MCT status on LinkedIn, we highly suggest achieving this by generating your online transcript link from your Learn profile. This approach not only allows you to showcase your current MCT status with the updated validity, but it also provides the opportunity to display all of the certifications and modules you have successfully completed.

To accomplish this, I kindly suggest following the instructions provided in the link below:

On the other hand, clarifying the error shown in your screenshot when trying to access the MCT Lounge, the "access denied" message usually occurs due to either using an incorrect email address for sign-in or attempting to access the MCT Lounge directly without first requesting access.

To resolve this, please ensure that you are logged into the Microsoft Tech Community using the email account associated with your MCT profile. You can verify and confirm the email address linked to your MCT status by checking the sticky post. Additionally, it is advisable to access this platform via the Microsoft Edge InPrivate browser to avoid potential browser issues.

Once you successfully log in to your Microsoft Tech Community profile without issues, to add the MCT Lounge, we need to establish your access to this secure platform. Also, due to the ongoing system update of the MCT Community, the MCT Lounge Access Request process page is currently undergoing enhancements.

To help you gain access, please send an email to our MCT Program Team along with your Tech Community ID. You can find the email address by clicking this link. To find your Tech Community ID, kindly follow the steps below:

 

  1. Click on this link: https://aka.ms/TechCommunity/WhoAmi (it will redirect to the tech community home page).

  2. Click on the sign in option at the top right of the page and sign in with the email address associated with their MCT status.

  3. Complete the registration.

  4. Click on the “Profile” option on the top right and then

  5. Copy the URL and send to the MCTprog team (the URL contains number at the end, which is the tech community id) 
     

If an issue persists, I want to make sure I can help you find feasible options. To do so, please provide us with a step-by-step screenshot using the Problem Steps Recorder (PSR) tool (click this link for MAC devices). Kindly capture the process from the sign-in page to the point where the error occurs. This will help us understand exactly what's happening and allow my team to address it efficiently. I'll personally ensure we resolve it promptly.

Kindly attach the PSR file via private message I have initiated along with the requested information to locate and verify your account.
