Microsoft Certified Trainer - Certifications required

I appreciate your interest in becoming a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Let me provide you with guidance and information for the required certifications.

Please be advised that the Microsoft Office Specialist certification like Excel is no longer part of the eligible certifications to apply as an MCT which started April 1, 2022. Also, training materials for Microsoft Office products are no longer available.

To become an MCT, here are the requirements:

• Possess a current Microsoft Certification or qualification eligible for the MCT program. 

• Demonstrate instructional skills by completing a course from one of the following approved providers.

Once you have chosen one of the eligible Microsoft Certification, on the details page, you will see which exams is/are required to obtain the certificate. Then on the exam details page of the required exams, it will provide the Skills measured and Official Practice test that can help you in preparing for the exam.
