Question

Q: Turning web page Background gray on Lesson3 for beginner (HTML5 & CSS3 Fundermentals)

I can't seem to figure out how to turn the web page background to gray on my IE11. I am a serious beginner and I will appreciate a step by step guide on how to fix this problem

body {
  font-family:Arial,Helvettica,sans-serif;
  background-color:#333333;
}

Hi Hannel

I have puzzleing news.   I made all the changes in my css file.  Then I decided to just copy yours over mine just in case I missed more codes.   But it still didn't translate to the html file when I opened with IE.

No idea why.  I see your html file, with all the color and borders.   It was much easier to read so I took the time to read the article.

To the point, you have my html file, I copied your css file onto mine and deleted the old file.  The html passed the validator.   What can be going wrong?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Can I move onto lesson 4 without bringing these problems with me?  If I lose the rhythm of doing theae lessons I tend to let more time pass than I wish .....

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
