Hello, Chandranath.

We want to thank you for your patience in this process.

We have verified with our Specialized Team, and they informed us that Microsoft periodically goes thru a clean-up effort, to identify certifications based on technologies that are no longer relevant, and removes them from learner transcripts.

This is done to ensure that the certifications represented on transcripts are current and cover up-to-date skills, knowledge, and abilities.

This specific certifications fits this scenario. Microsoft has purged the data for this certification and they cannot be restored.

To learn about current Microsoft certifications, please go to the following link: Browse Certifications and Exams | Microsoft Docs

Please contact the alias: mcpops@microsoft.com for further Concerns/Queries.

We wish we could be of more help, and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please let us know if you have more questions. If no response is received, we will close the case on the next two business days.

Hope you have an amazing day,

Hello, Chandranath.

Thank you so much for your response.

We completely understand that it is important for you to have a copy of your certifications.

However, please keep in mind that the system will not allow to retrieve it, as it expired several years ago.

Also, note that the system automatically sends a notification to your email, every time you pass an exam or obtain a certification. Microsoft do not sends hard copy/ physical copy of certificates. However, our learners can access them through the MCP account anytime they need it, before they get obsolete, and get removed by our specialized teams.

In this case, we kindly ask you to create a ticket with your test center, we are sure that they will be able to provide you with the best solution.

We wish we could be of more help. We will be attentive on your response, in case you have further questions. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked within the next two business days.
