AZ-900 - Free Exam Cert after taking "Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals" training programme

It was my understanding that after taking the two day "Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals" training programme you should receive an exam voucher for the AZ-900 exam.

I have performed both training days and received email confirmation of completion however I have not received any vouchers.

I have also checked within my Microsoft Learn portal and there are no vouchers showing and if I try to book the exam it just takes me through to PearsonVue and requests payment for the exam.

How can I get the free exam voucher?

I understand you are expecting an exam voucher after completing the Virtual Training Day event. Let me provide you the updates about these events.

Please be advised that the MVTD discount offer has already been discontinued since March 28, 2023. The recently concluded events and upcoming schedules for the trainings no longer include vouchers. You may have noticed in the event description and confirmation email you received that the discounts not being mentioned.

 

For your reference, here’s a sample of the previous “Thank you” email with the discount offer. It covers the steps in redeeming the discount.

Currently, the “Thank you” email being sent to participants no longer covers the discount since this offer has already ended.

While this is true, we can only recommend to watch out for other events that may offer free or discounted exam vouchers. Please visit the Microsoft Events Catalog for upcoming events, trainings and promotional offers.

If your confirmation email contains details saying you are qualified for an exam discount, kindly send us a screenshot.
