In this case it would depend on the time of the day and the time zone where the exams were completed by the other members as well as yours.

The dates for completed exams and certifications are listed and processed in our professional's profiles in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), UTC +0. As such, the date of the certification might be different if the exam was taken in another time zone. Also, those who have earned role-based and specialty certifications can renew them annually for free by passing an online assessment on Microsoft Learn. This can be done at any time within six months before the certification expires. When the learner passes the renewal assessment, their certification is extended by one year from the current expiration date.

If you are located in a time zone ahead of the Greenwich Mean Time (UTC+0) and passed the exam before the date cycled over to June the 30th GMT, the certification will have two years validity, if the date in GMT cycled over when you finished the exam it will be valid for one year i.e:

• Professional is located in India (UTC +5:30) and completes an exam at 12:00 AM - June the 30th, this would mean that the certification exam is passed at 7:00 PM of the previous day (June 29) in the system.

• Professional is located in Hong Kong (UTC+8) and completes an exam at 9:00 AM - June the 30th, this would mean that the certification exam is passed at 1:00 AM of the same day in the system.

Candidates that earn their certification(s) before June 30 midnight UTC will have the 2 year term.

Candidates that earn their certification(s) after June 30 midnight UTC will have a 1 year term.
