Didn't realize exam time zone is China Standard Time (CST), thought it was Central Standard Time

Hi,

I had scheduled an exam for Az-900 at April 4, 2021 at 4:30 CST. I didn't review the details thinking it is in Central Standard Time. I have just reviewed the details right now at 1am Central Standard Time and  saw that the exam is in China Standard Time.

The exam is still in the Pearson Vue system and it cannot be modified or changed status to failed.

Hello Mikhail,

Assistance in making changes such as rescheduling, cancellation and refund request, please contact the Pearson Vue support directly as they have access to your appointment.

You may contact them through their website below and have an option to Chat or Contact the Pearson VUE Support through phone.

Also, the possible reason why you’re seeing a different appointment date on your Dashboard is that, the time zone that was displayed in the system is UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) which follows the time zone on your Certification profile while the time zone via Pearson Vue follows PST (Pacific Standard Time).

This shouldn’t affect your exam, you just need to keep in mind that the correct exam time is the one displayed on your exam vendor dashboard.

To know more about exam appointment time, you may refer to this sticky post.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question. If your inquiry was not fully resolved, please post a new question so we may continue in assisting you. This case will now be closed and locked.

All the best,
