Exam retake for Azure AI fundamentals(AI-900)

I appreciate your efforts and dedication to your Microsoft Credentials exam as I understand that you want further clarification with regards to retaking an exam after failing the first attempt. Allow me to provide the best option to move forward.

According to the Exam retake policy. There is a 24-hour waiting period if you fail your first attempt for role-based, specialty and fundamentals exams, and the following attempts will have a 14-day waiting period as well as a maximum of five attempts per year starting from the date of your first attempt.

Please be advised that every attempt is considered as a new registration, and the fee for the cost of the exam must be paid or discounts/vouchers must be applied. Furthermore, I highly recommend checking discounts that you can apply for the AI-900 exam such as the Academic discounts, Company or ESI discount, and the current active event, which is the Microsoft Virtual Training Days, which offers a 50% discount upon completing an eligible event. Furthermore, I highly recommend checking the AI-900 study guide, and taking the free Practice Assessment as this should help you focus your studies and be better prepared for the exam.

I recently created my student account and successfully obtained academic discounts. However, I would like to know the process for claiming these academic discounts. Additionally, I wrote my exam on 24th June

Additionally, I am participating in the Microsoft Virtual Days event scheduled for July 2, 2024, which offers a 50 percent discount. I am curious to know if I can combine this discount with my student discount to receive a greater reduction. If so, could you please provide detailed instructions on how to claim and apply these discounts?

Congratulations on verifying your student status! You can now take advantage of the 30% discount for Fundamentals exam (all countries), and 45% for All Role Base Exam (Except India and China). The academic discount is automatically deducted on the payments and billing page on the Pearson VUE portal when scheduling your exam. Kindly visit the Certification for students' page to learn more about student discounts.

Furthermore, I appreciate your curiosity with regards to combining the MVTD discount, please be advised that the MVTD discounts cannot be combined with other discounts such as the ESI, Student, CloudSkills Challenge, FTE as clarified in the MVTD sticky post.

Moreover, when attending the MVTD event, please make sure that you use the same email address you used to register for the event, this is to avoid issues in claiming the voucher.

I would like to clarify whether I can combine the 50 percent discount from the Microsoft Virtual Days event with the 30 percent discount available to students from India. Is it possible to apply both discounts simultaneously, or am I only eligible to use one of them?

As discussed, as per the terms and conditions of the MVTD discount vouchers, please note that they cannot be combined with other discounts, particularly, tha student/academic discounts offered for Microsoft Credentials. Additionally, should you have multiple voucher codes, please note that only 1 (one) voucher code can be applied per exam.

Completing one of the Virtual Training Day shows your eagerness to earn the Azure fundamentals certificate as I understand that you want to know when you can expect to receive the 50% coupon code for your exam. Allow me to provide further clarification with regards to the MVTD discount.

Please note that for eligible MVTD events that offer discounts, candidates will receive the voucher code via the "Thank you for attending email." 5 business days after finishing the training. Since the last day of the event you attended was the 2nd, you should receive the voucher code by the 9th of July. Kindly check your spam/junk folder as well to make sure that you don't miss anything.

If you still haven't received the "thank you email" after 5 business days, please share the information requested on the private message that I initiated and I will have this forwarded to our support team for further investigation.

Moreover, learners must enter the voucher code when scheduling their exam in order to receive the 50% discount.
