How to complete registration for Learning Account

Trying to register m***-s******@outlook.com for a learning account.

Main goals: 

1. Create the Learning account for my personal account. 

2. Have the learnings from my Work Account (#of completed courses and Badges) to copy over from work account to Personal Account. 

3. Redeem the Exam Voucher to enable me to take my AZ-900 exam.  (which I have to use my personal account to redeem the voucher using then my work account....)

Hi K-MS2,

To register for an account on MS Learn, you need to sign in using your preferred Microsoft account and password on the MS Learn website. For you to check whether your registration is successful, you should be able to access and edit your profile page and view your achievements on the Learn website.

 

Before we proceed, we would also like to know the certificates that you have completed and the link where you have taken these certifications for us to ensure that we will be directing you to the correct area of support.

 

Also, if you would like to redeem your AZ-900 exam voucher, you would need to create a Microsoft Certification Profile by following the steps below:

 

  1. Visit Microsoft Certification Dashboard.
  2. On the upper right part, click on Sign in.
  3. Enter your Microsoft account/Personal email address and password.
  4. Click on Certification Dashboard.
  5. Click ‘Edit your Certification profile’ and update the information.
  6. Click Save to generate a MCID.

 

To verify the voucher, we would also like to know where you have received the voucher (e.g. Azure Virtual Training Days, Ignite Challenge, etc.).

For your reference, note that Microsoft Certification and MS Learn are two different platforms, and our scope only includes performing modifications on a candidate’s Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

I tried using your personal Microsoft account and was unable to locate any profile.

If you were able to create your own Microsoft Certification Profile, can we have your MCID?

You should be able to see your MC ID from the Microsoft Certification Dashboardonce signed in. It is located on this top right corner of the pages as shown below:

 

For assistance in linking your work account into your MS Learn Profile, please reach out to the MS Learn Support by reporting an issue.

As for your issue in claiming your exam discount from your company, I need to direct you to our Exams team for further assistance after we located and verify your Microsoft Certification Profile.

As discussed, please be advised that the MS Learnand Microsoft Certification are different platforms, hence we recommend to please contact the MS Learn Support team by reporting an issue if you need to associate your profile to a personal email address.

Also, since you have successfully created a Microsoft Certification profile and schedule exam AZ-900 with your exam voucher, in order to associate your MC ID to your Partner profile, please refer and complete these steps.
