How to fill the First Name Last Name part in Certification Profile

Hi there,

I am creating my Certification Profile and in that page there are a few things quite confusing to me which I haven't encounter in other international website before.

First of all, it says my name must appears exactly the same as government-issued identification. My official ID is in LastName FirstName format. If I need to make it appears the same as my ID, that means I have to fill up my First Name in Last Name field and Last Name in First Name field? Would that cause any complication later?

Next is about the phone number. So my mobile number is like [removed]. Do I fill the [removed] in area code and [removed] in phone number? (technically there is no such thing as area code for mobile number in this country, but area code is a required field.)

Thank you.

Yen

Hi Yen,

As per design, our system displays a First Name Last Name format, so if you have your last name first on your government-issued ID, you are correct. The first name field should show your last name and the last name field should contain your first name.

If you haven’t created your profile yet, please follow the above-mentioned name format. In the event that you need to make any changes on your name, please fill-out the Microsoft Certification Profile Name Change Request form and provide at least three (3) pieces of personal information from your Microsoft Certification Profile.

To update the phone number field (especially the area code), you may enter the first three digits if your contact number, and the rest will be your phone number as seen on the image below.

Please let us know if you need anything further.
