I was kicked out of the PL-300 exam for taking an unscheduled break

***Removed***, I took the PL-300 exam in Portuguese (at 8 AM Brasilia time). Near the end of the exam, I needed a break to take a sip of water and go to the bathroom. It took less than two minutes. When I was going back to my bed to continue the exam, the proctor, Kevin, sounded furious and asked if I had taken a break without scheduling it.

I confirmed and explained why I took the break and how I had communicated it by pressing the "take a break" button. The proctor spent several minutes analyzing my case while I waited for his approval to continue the exam. Then, almost ten minutes later, I was kicked out for disappearing from the webcam.

I was extremely confused and nervous because Microsoft allows unscheduled breaks, and I had no idea I was supposed to schedule one, as he said. Fortunately, I passed the exam despite this issue. However, before knowing that, I was really scared and upset.
