ID doesn't fully match my Pearson Vue profile (no middle name). Do I need to change this?

Registered for Pearson Vue Microsoft Exam in August. ID listed on Pearson Profile has first and last name but not middle. My ID has my middle name. Do I need to change this so I can take the exam?

Your name on your Learning account should exactly match your ID’s to proceed in taking your exam as per exam vendor’s policy.

For us to proceed on updating your middle name, I have initiated a private message requesting for information to verify your profile, please refer to the image below:

Once the name has been changed, please allow 24-48 hours for the testing center system to recognize the changes.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response has been received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.

Hi Deepak,

Do I need to wait 36 hours to reschedule the exam? I'm asking because I want to guarantee my day (specifically have time off for this exam) and it will let me reschedule now. Or is the 36 hour wait regarding the refund or scheduling the exam for a different date altogether?

Usually it takes 24-36 hours for you to reschedule the exam post cancelling.

If you are able to do it before that, please proceed. If any issues post 36 hours, please do let us know, we shall assist you.
