MCP or equivalent certifications

Our customer is requiring that our employee possess an MCP.  She does not.  Has the MCP Certification been retired?  If so, what is the replacement certification?  She is permitted to have an MCP or equivalent.  What is an equivalent certification?  She is a software developer.  I just want her to acquire the most basic, fundamental certification to satisfy the requirement.  Thank you

Answer

Hi Dawn2Chapman,

Since February 2019, we have decommissioned the issuance of MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification and have replaced it with our role-based certificates.

To explore our current certifications, you may want to check out our Role-Based Certifications page and filter it by either job role, technology, certification type, and certification level (as shown in the image below).
