MCSE certification

Hello I went to school back in >removed< to work towards my MCSE. I certified for one below that as I did not take the last test. I have no idea what my certification number is. Can someone help with that or is it to late?

Hi, Denise.

Thank you for sharing the information requested through Private Message.

To update the Microsoft account associated with your Certification Profile, we must complete the Migration process. To proceed with the Migration, please follow the steps below:

1. Open your Microsoft Edge Browser and begin a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.

2. Copy and paste the following URL into the private window’s address bar: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

3. Access using a new personal Microsoft account (MSA). Please use your desired Microsoft account in this step, as the account used here will be associated with your Certification Profile.

4. If you are shown an error message, please select the option "Home." You can then copy and paste the URL from Step 2 into the search bar.

5. After selecting the option "Home," you will be redirected to the Member Site, as shown in the image below.

6. Once this page has loaded, please delete the URL, and paste the following:

7. After pasting the URL and pressing enter, you will see this website. Please fill in the blank fields with the MCID and Access Code that we shared with you via Private Message.

Once you finish this process, please let us know if you can connect your Certification Profile and access your Certificates by signing into your Learning dashboard with your new account and selecting "Certifications" in the navigation menu.

If your request has been resolved, please let us know by selecting "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post.

If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after two business days.

Hi, Denise.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Since you must sign in using an account that is not connected to a Certification Profile, it is normal for an error message to appear the first time you open the migration URL.

As mentioned in Step 4, if you see an error after signing in, by clicking on "MCP Home" you will be directed to the Member Site.

Once you are directed to the Member Site, you must paste the migration URL again, where you can enter the MCID and Access Code we shared with you via Private Message to complete the Migration.

If you run into any trouble while following the Migration steps, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

Once you finish this process, please let us know if you can connect your Certification Profile and access your Certificates by signing into your Learning dashboard with your new account and selecting "Certifications" in the navigation menu.

If your concern has been resolved, please let us know by selecting "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post.

If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after two business days.

Hi, Denise.

Thank you for letting us know.

There are two ways to view and share your achievements through your Learning dashboard. You can share your Certificates individually via the "Certifications" tab or collectively through your official Transcript.

To access and share your Certifications, please follow the steps below:

  1. Please visit Microsoft Learn.

  2. Sign in with the personal Microsoft account (MSA) associated with your Certification Profile.

  3. Click on your user icon, located at the upper right corner of the screen, and select "Profile."

  4. Select "Certifications" in the navigation menu, on the left side of the screen.

  5. To download your Certificates, select "View certification details" under a Certificate, then click "Print certificate."

  6. From the printer drop-down menu, select "Save to PDF" to save a copy of your Certification.

  7. To share your Certifications, click "Share" and select the location to which you wish to share your Certification.

To generate the link to share your Transcript, please follow the steps below:

  1. Please visit Microsoft Learn.

  2. Sign in using the personal Microsoft account (MSA) associated with your Certification Profile.

  3. Click on your user icon, located at the upper right corner of the screen, and select "Profile."

  4. Select "Transcript" in the navigation menu, located at the left side of the screen.

  5. Select "Print" and choose "Save to PDF" to download a copy of your Transcript.

  6. Select "Share link" to generate an online link that will allow you to share your Transcript.

Alternatively, you can also set your Learn profile view to public. This will allow anyone with your Learn profile's URL to view your display name, Learn achievements, Collections, and Q&A contributions.

For more detailed information on this matter, please visit the article: View, use, and share certificates and badges | Microsoft Learn

Please let us know if these steps worked for you or if you run into any trouble. We will be happy to help.

We hope that you find this information to be helpful. If so, please let us know by selecting "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post.

We are looking forward to your response. If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after two business days.

I followed the path and I see certifications of all sorts but not mine in particular. It is OK it was a long shot that I would get the information. I am kind of over it anyway.

Hi, Denise.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

As we mentioned via Private Message, we need you to please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) recording, which will help us evidence the situation.

It is necessary that the Microsoft account used when accessing is displayed, as well what you see when you select "Certifications" in the navigation menu and select "View all" under your first two Certifications. We advise taking multiple screenshots if necessary.

Please bear in mind that all the steps below must be shown in the recording:

  1. Use Internet Explorer (version 9 or above) or Edge.

  2. Clear all cookies and cache.

  3. Allow all third-party cookies.

  4. Use the InPrivate option in Internet Explorer or Edge.

You can use PSR (Problems Steps Recorder) tool by following the steps below:

Keep in mind that the PSR (Problems Steps Recorder) tool is set to a limit of 25 screenshots as a default, if you need a higher number of pictures, you can change the number of screenshots in the tool's settings.

Once you have created the recording, please share it with us through Private Message, as it will contain personal information that cannot be shared publicly.

We are looking forward to your response. If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after two business days.
