Microsoft Certifcate renewal date missed, certificate unfortunately expired

Good evening,

Due to an unexpected personal situation, I was unable to renew my Moden Desktop Administrator certificate in time. I had planned to take the renewal two months prior to the expiration date, unfortunately something change in my personal situation which lead to me missing the deadline.

Is there in any way a possibility to retake the renewal exam instead of retaking the entire exam?

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft community.

As we understand from your post, your Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate Certification has expired, and you would like to know how to renew it. We are happy to help!

By our expiration policy, after a Certification expires, it can no longer be renewed through the renewal assessment available on Microsoft Learn. In that case, candidates must complete all the Exams required to re-earn said Certification.
