More nightmares taking exams with Pearson VUE - It never seems to end. AZ-103 Azure Administrator

So, 3rd time trying to take this damn exam and more issues today. I'm so done with this entire process and I'm amazed that people even still do these exams anymore. PearsonVue has completely ruined the experience.

The story goes like this.

1. 1st attempt to take the exam, I was sent to a "testing" location that was basically an old gas station converted into a testing facility with a couple PC's setup in one of the rooms. I waited 45 minutes for someone to come and let me in after the time I was supposed to start my exam but no one showed up. Long story short, someone showed, the computer had several issues so i finally was able to get an exam voucher while the issue was investigated.

2. 2nd attempt to take the exam, I logged in, got to the window where you wait for a proctor and then waited and waited.. 2 hours later and several chat sessions and calls to PearsonVUE I finally got told that the exam wasn't going to happen today and I needed to reschedule. That's super, thanks a lot for that waste of time.

3. 3rd attempt was today, I logged in, the proctor got in the session and "released the exam" my screen was completely black other than the chat window. we waited about 10 minutes for nothing to happen, then I was told to restart my laptop which I did. I asked if I would need to go through the registration process again and was told I just needed to restart the OnVue app, so I went ahead and did that. When doing that and trying to go back in, I received an error that the access code was not valid. So I started a chat session with PearsonVUE because they are not available on Saturday for phone calls (not sure why you would have exams scheduled if you have no one to call when you have a problem), but anyway.. I waited another 30 minutes for someone to finally get on a chat and after explaining my situation he basically told me there was nothing he could do and I needed to wait 3-5 days for a response. .WHAT THE **** is wrong with them? This is supposed to be a professional organization?? Hardly.. If I didn't have to do this exam for work, i wouldn't even THINK about doing another exam with PearsonVUE. Microsoft SERIOUSLY needs to reconsider the delivery of their exams because this can't keep happening. Absolutely disgusting.. Does Microsoft/PearsonVUE not understand the stress and anxiety that people go through when preparing for an exam? Do you not care about the time and effort it takes? Obviously not.

So that's where I am.. maybe the next time I try and take this exam I will actually get the opportunity to do it and pass. I know for a fact it will be my LAST exam I ever take.

Your response is a perfect example of Pearson and Microsoft 's incompetence in customer service.  Your response to mmmmpsi has nothing to do with his problem as stated.  He is not challenging a test question.  In fact, he was never presented with a question as the test failed to run at all in all three instances.  This has happened to me as well and, similarly, Pearson has been of no assistance in figuring out what the problem is.

Just a quick Update on this. I received a refund this morning and was told to go ahead and reschedule the exam. Hopefully the 4th attempt will be the charm. Thank you!

I had similar problems with the OnVue app and couldn't take a test.  Ultimately, i believe, I figured it out myself.  Dell's Smartbyte application was disrupting bandwidth.  I found that the application is intended for Dell Inspiron's not my XPS.  After uninstalling it the Pearson system tests worked successfully.  I re-took the test this morning successfully.  (And passed).
