Pearson Vue | Revoked Exam | Using of Headset: Disqualified for wearing headphones while taking AZ-900 exam

Hello,

I was just disqualified while taking above-mentioned exam online via VUE for wearing a headset.

In fact I was wearing it - very very visible and without any intent of cheating. I somehow thought that because I was initially checked for working microphone/sound devices that I should keep it on with the possibility of using it and I didn't think further about it. Infact the Proctor asked me about the Headphones before launching the exam & he was quite okay with it & didn't report any issue. The fact i was using Headphone is because my laptop doesn't work on Speaker & can be heard only with Headphones.

I am shattered now because I was well-prepared plus it went well so far and I am now afraid to have wasted the money on it.

Could someone please give me advice on how I can possibly resolve this issue? Can I retake it?

Furthermore, according to the Pearson VUE test taker's guide and technical requirements FAQs, please know that headphones, wired or wireless are prohibited during the exam. You can also refer to the Microsoft Candidate Agreement to avoid this issue in the future.
