SQL MCSE certificate path question

Hi, I have recently gained the SQL Server 2012 MCSA Certificate and am considering moving on to gain the MCSE certificate. I am finding the requirements for this certificate a little confusing. It says I only have to "pass one of the elective exams:" but on the same page it also says you have to pass 3 exams "Required exams: 70-464, 70-465, 70-466".

I am interested and looking at studying for the 70-466 exam, could someone please confirm that this would be sufficient to gaining the MCSE Certificate or do I need to take all 3 exams?

Thanks.

Hello samcoopey,

We apologize for the confusion. This has been raised to our Support Team for better browsing experience.

Since you already have the prerequisite certification (MCSA: SQL Server 2012), you just need to pass one (1) of the exams that are mentioned below. Hence, you can also proceed in taking Exam 70-466 and this will give you the said MCSE certificate.

After passing the last exam for any certification, please allow 24-48 hours for the new certification status to be updated on your profile.
