Please help on this

***Moved from Certification Profile / MCID Assistance***

Hello SunilKumarGupta07,

Thank you for writing us back.

I have located your account based on your previous post.

To avoid getting the internal error, please make sure to use a different/temporary email address in migrating your other profile.

You may follow the steps below to complete the migration for us to consolidate your profiles.

1. Go to https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp using inprivate/incognito

2. Sign in using a different/temporary email address.

3. If you encounter a "Internal Error" please re-enter https://mcp.microsoft.com/home/migrate on the address bar.

3. Enter the Access Code along with the MC ID (please see private message)

If issue persist, I would recommend to perform the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Use Internet Explorer.

2. Try using your browser in InPrivate/Incognito.

3. Should the issue persist clear cache and cookies (steps here) Make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.

If the above steps do not resolve your issue, please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) from the time you are signing in until the error message via private message.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.

Hello SunilKumarGupta07,

Thank you for your confirmation.

The profiles were merged successfully under your preferred MC ID.

Using the information you sent, I found another duplicate profile on where the certificate is registered.

On this case, you need to migrate the profile as well using the new MC ID and Access code that I’ll send through private message.

You may follow the same steps above for the migration and make sure to migrate the 2 profiles using 2 different email addresses.

Once both profiles are migrated, I can process the next merged within 24-48 hours as system requirement to make sure all information will be sync.

I will monitor your case to make sure that all your profiles will be consolidated under your preferred account.

I look forward to your update. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.
