Unable to log into MCP Dashboard to access certifications using my originally used email address

I have created a new login under a new email that I would like to link to my existing MCP ID# however the email account I originally used to log into MCP does not work. This may have been because at one time that specific email address was used as a secondary account for an organizational O365 account.

The last notification I have in the original gmail account from MCP is from April 2012 which may have been the last time I wrote an exam.

I'm planning to take some upgrade exams in the near future and need to see if my current (out of date) certifications qualify.

Thanks,

RB

Answer

Hello RB,

I was able to locate and verify your profile with the use of the information you’ve provided. As a result, I found that you had a duplicate profile.

Nothing to worry as I have consolidated these to ensure that your exams and certifications will be at one place moving forward. You will see your Certification Benefits on your MCID ending in 2208.

To associate your preferred email address, I have generated an Access Code for you. Please follow the migration steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Certification Dashboard
  2. Enter the Access Code along with your MCID (please check the private message to see this information)

Additionally, I have provided steps that you can follow on how to access and obtain a copy of your Certification benefits.

Certificates

  1. From “Your Dashboard” page, click ‘Download’ under Certificates tile.
  2. On the “Certificates” page, select the certificate(s) that you would like to download.
  3. Click the “PDF” button. An "OPEN, SAVE, SAVE AS" bar will pop-up at the bottom of the page.

Transcript

  1. From “Your Dashboard” page, please click Share or Downloadunder the “Transcript”.
  2. Please select the format of the transcript then click “Save” to download a copy of your transcript.

Moving forward, please use the same information such as name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number as it appears on your current Microsoft Certification profile when registering for an exam. This will ensure that all exams will be updated under the same account.

To keep your account active, please make sure to access your profile at least once every 12 months.

For your reference, I have sent a copy of your transcript on a separate email.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after two business days. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. If your inquiry was not fully resolved, please post a new question so we may continue in assisting you.

Have a great day!
