From Microsoft Learn course's unit, they say that pay as you go cloud services helps you to "run your infrastructure more efficiently". The webpage that I am speaking of is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/intro-to-azure-fundamentals/what-is-cloud-computing and it is under the section: "Why is cloud computing typically cheaper?".
What is the infrastructure in this context?
- Is it talking about the cloud infrastructure like managing your own components and resources?
- Is networking included as "my infrastructure" because I am responsible for what should be protected private and what should be public?
