which AZ-204 self training path is correct?!?!?

I see 2 different paths for self-instruction for the AZ-204 Azure Dev cert:

If you look here, there seems to be a pretty clear path https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/azure-developer/?WT.mc_id=Azure_BoM-wwl&tab=tab-learning-paths

However,,,, then I originally did the AZ-400 certification? I followed the path indicated via this document: https://query.prod.cms.rt.microsoft.com/cms/api/am/binary/RE4J5ea

The paths are fairly different. the Path indicated by the second certifications guide is a bunch more hours of training. I prefer to do the most extensive training possible, but I also dont want to go from something that's out of date. help!
